Sarah Owens
Sarah is Managing Director and works with Direct, Digital and Integrated agencies. She's responsible for recruiting at the senior end of client service and handling briefs at Business Director level and above, including Board and senior management positions. She works on strategic planning briefs at all levels.
Sarah spent her early career in account management working with one of the pioneer DM agencies, THB&W and rising to Account Director with Ogilvy & Mather Direct. She founded Direct Recruitment in 1988 on the basis of this expertise that's underpinned her highly consultative service ever since.
She brings unparalleled specialist recruitment experience and industry knowledge enabling her to identify and select high calibre candidates, and provide first class advice, from briefing stage to final appointment. She's accomplished in executive search, taking a rigorous approach to sourcing and assessing candidates to find the absolutely right person.
She's had a lifelong interest in training and personal development and is a Patron and Fellow of the IDM; she's a qualified practitioner in NLP and Corporate Member of the Recruitment and Employment Federation, upholding ethical standards in recruitment.
Sarah's passions are art, antiques, architecture and Italy.
