Data & Insight Manager

Location: Central London (hybrid)

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 (DOE)

The role

We’re representing a London based marketing and media agency that has doubled in size by outthinking and out delivering the global giants.

They have built a sophisticated data infrastructure and now we need a data specialist to own its operation and strategic evolution.

As Data & Insights Manager / Data & Measurement Manager, you’ll be the technical owner of the GCP/BigQuery environment, ensuring the data is reliable, well-structured and ready to solve complex, real-world problems for major clients

You’ll hold the systems together so they can turn raw data into trusted reporting, insight and high-value strategy.

This is a hybrid role for someone who is both hands-on (pipelines, SQL, dashboards) and strategic (measurement frameworks, roadmaps and stakeholder influence).

What you’ll do

  • Own the BigQuery environment: structure, access, documentation and performance

  • Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines and develop SQL-based transformation workflows

  • Deliver client-facing dashboards and automate internal reporting.

  • Support marketing effectiveness by operationalising Meridian (MMM)

  • Present confidently to internal teams and external clients, turning technical work into clear decisions, strategies and actions.

What we’re looking for

  • Marketing data experience, with the ability to operate as both hands-on and as a strategic partner.

  • Marketing agency experience (media/creative/digital) and comfort in fast-moving, multi-stakeholder delivery.

  • Solid analytics understanding and strong hands-on SQL + BigQuery skills

  • Experience working in GCP and/or running cloud applications; solid understanding of ad tech and data tagging.

  • Proven ownership of production ETL pipelines end-to-end (data quality, monitoring, troubleshooting).

  • Experience delivering dashboards for stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly and present to senior stakeholders/clients.

  • Practical understanding of marketing measurement; Meridian/MMM exposure is beneficial but not essential.

Why join this company

  • Impact: They are winning - competing successfully against the largest agencies in the world to lead digital media for iconic global brands.

  • Stability & growth: They have doubled in size in recent years and are moving into a new, larger office to support the next phase of growth.

  • Culture: High-performing, streamlined organisation that values long-term retention and direct, honest leadership.

An exciting opportunity to join a marketing agency in a Data & Insights / Data & Measurement Manager role.

If you love to use data to derive insights this could the role for you.
