​Our client, a premier Data Consultancy, collaborates with leading brands to ensure the intelligent use of their data. They are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Director with a commercial mindset to foster strong client relationships, provide expert data solutions, and identify opportunities for growth within the portfolio of client accounts you will be managing. You’ll be part of a well-established client services team, supported by Account Managers.

The Role:

As an Account Director, you’ll be the primary relationship owner for top-tier client accounts, focusing on retention and growth. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be a natural relationship builder, and have a passion for data technology and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client accounts across various brands, focusing on retention and growth.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, ensuring clients maximize the value of our services.

  • Collaborate with senior clients to understand their needs and present strategies to engage their customers and drive revenue.

  • Use a consultative approach to client development, offering timely advice and recommendations.

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to support client retention and growth.

  • Identify and address areas for improvement in quality, product, and revenue processes.

  • Prepare and lead client onboarding, consulting on best practices and solutions.

  • Communicate future product improvements and roadmaps to clients.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years account management experience in the data marketing industry and data solution development.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation.

  • Highly numerate and commercially aware.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently with a methodical approach.

  • Experience with FastStats or similar tools is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Direct Marketing Industry.
